ProudlyMadeinGeorgia.com: For years I made a living as a successful Sales Executive in the IT field. I was a consistent top performer winning many sales awards and responsible for millions of dollars in sales. As a talented artist in watercolor, acrylic and charcoal what I really wanted to do was create art but having to make a living sort of got in the way. After layoff in 2009, I decided what I really wanted to do was go back to painting. But how could I make a sustainable income from this? Selling artwork through the various Art and Craft fairs around Ga. was fun but exhausting and a time consuming task. Why not sell online? My research of available venues was disappointing - I learned most of the artists selling on currently popular websites were actually generating minimal income. You had to compete with hundreds of thousands of artists from all over the world! A website was needed with a more unique group of artisans and one that created traffic that resulting in higher income for artists. My goal is to create an online venue for only Georgia artists offering a wide variety of quality products that celebrates the very best from Georgia & thrill our customers with great products & service.
